But that’s from a quite obviously biased source, seeking to stop the “myth of overpopulation.” (It’s not a myth, the 7,000,000,000th person born made news, I think we can qualify that as overpopulation.) Do we have anything from reliable news sources?

But, seriously, if you think that you’re EVER going to find ANY news, science, or any other sort of article that is totally free of bias, you’re dreaming. Not to mention, that particular article quoted Harvard as one of a few “reliable” institutions. Not everything has to support your views in order to be “reliable” because it may in fact be more reliable than the things you’re depending on and it may just be time to change your thinking.
Also, I don’t understand why everyone on this website is belligerent toward anything to do with religion or the beliefs of another person, yet insist that everyone else be totally accepting of their own views.
Another thing, excluding the space that would be needed for highways, shopping malls, other large buildings, etc. the entire world population can fit inside of the state of Texas with about 3 acres per person. This is from someone’s school project where they insisted that this was the case but that it would be ridiculous to expect everyone to live in the sweltering Texas deserts, which is quite a silly assertion.
But, hey, if you think that Earth is overpopulated and that killing people is the solution, why don’t we control who is killed. Say, kill the old people who aren’t contributing to society any longer and the mentally handicapped people because Lord knows they’re not doing anything good. We’ll kill the people who disagree and think those people have the right to life. But you can go play Hitler on your own because I won’t have any part of it and I will gladly stand up on the side of life and do everything I can to prevent the killing of innocent people.
If you disagree that life is a basic human right, then that is on you and there’s nothing that I can do. But don’t jump on me and berate me for my beliefs, especially when they are backed up scientifically, theologically, and are common sense.
